Reallife Community Church of the Nazarene is a part of a church family with a world outreach ministry.  The Church of the Nazarene International has a presence in more than 150 countries around the world.  Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the educational and financial support arm of
World Missions.  Our local NMI ministry sponsors an annual Missions Fair in our church to acquaint our Reallife Community with the international scope of our church.  As a part of this education process, a weekly e-mail is sent to those on our mailing list.  This e-mail contains feed back from world areas on compassionate ministries and special events as well as prayer requests from time to time.  Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) seeks to promote Compassion as a Lifestyle.  NCM provides support for special needs identified by our missionaries and NCM field personnel throughout the world.

Recently Reallife Community has  assisted with project needs in Haiti and in El Timal, Nicaragua.  Additionally Real Kids (our children's ministry) has participated in the East Tennessee District Church of the Nazarene Valentines for Jesus offering for WOW NOW, a ministry which supplies anti parasite medication to children in impoverished world areas. Our members and friends raised over $6500 to provide a water well for the community of El Timal.  In May a missions group from Reallife traveled to El Timal to participate in the distribution of de-worming medication to children  and see to other medical needs of the community.  Several members have given cattle, sheep, and/or  goats for this community also.  Please see our Blog for additional information and photos.  Following the devastating January earthquake in Haiti, an offering was received and sent to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries for immediate supplies assistance. 

On Sunday August 29, we will have our annual Mission Fair with guest speaker Bob Prescott and will pesent a Distinguished Service Award to a Reallife member who has gone the extra mile in service to others.   We will receive our traditional World Evangelism Fund offering which goes to support our global missions effort on Thanksgiving Sunday November, 2010.
