To Live Is Christ - Philippians

Probably the happiest letter in the Bible is the letter Paul wrote to the church in Philippi. In it, Paul embodies a life of joyful contentedness and encourages his friends in this same life. 

The strange thing is, all this joy is coming from Paul while he’s in jail in Rome. 

Somewhere along the way, Paul began to understand that his level of happiness and contentedness wasn’t tied up in the circumstances of his life, but in his friendship with Jesus...and his involvement in the ongoing mission of God in the world.

It’s a beautiful letter. I hope we’ll learn some of the lessons Paul has to share...not just from his words, but from his life.
