During the year 2010 our church leadership spent much of the year in prayerful, strategic planning to discern the next steps for Real Life. Over the course of several months we felt the leadership of God calling us to set some clear goals for our church. These goals became known as VISION 2020.
Over the next ten years, here are a few of the things we’re trying to accomplish:
- Renewed emphasis on outreach and connecting people with God & others through our church.
- Raise funds for a move into a permanent facility to help:
- relieve us from the endless cycle of paying rent
- improve our visibility
- expand our ministry facility
- Move into a permanent facility (we’re currently in a strip mall) in 3 years.
- Plant another Murfreesboro church
- Expand the reach of the church so that 400 people on average are “connecting with God & others” in weekend services between the two churches.
Those are some of the highlights. We’re already on the way. The first phase of our plan is called the IMPACT phase where we’re trying to grown to an average of 150 people in our weekend services and raise $200,000 for a down payment on a new facility. It’s an exciting work to be a part of. We’d love to have you join us and be a part of a special work of God over the next decade.
